Hotel Owners Community - Membership Agreement
Version hoc-terms-2026-08-05. By accepting below you agree to this version.
This agreement sets out the terms of your membership in the Hotel Owners Community ("HOC", "we", "us"). HOC is a membership organisation. It is not an insurance agent, broker, or carrier. Insurance products, if you choose to use them, are placed through Reliance Agency Management Services (RAMS) and underwritten by participating carriers.
1. Membership
Individual Owner membership is free. Membership does not guarantee insurance placement, a specific premium, or any savings outcome.
2. Insurance and estimates
Any premium estimate provided by HOC is preliminary and based on values you supply. Final pricing is subject to underwriting review and approval by the participating carrier. Coverage may not be available in all states. Past savings experienced by other members do not guarantee future results for you.
3. Your information
You authorise HOC and RAMS to use the information you provide to administer your membership, prepare insurance proposals, and contact you about your account. You confirm the information you give is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
4. Loss runs and policy information
If you provide loss runs, a policy number, or other carrier documents, you authorise us to use them to request and prepare insurance quotes. You are responsible for the accuracy of any policy number you submit.
5. Community conduct
Selling or marketing non-HOC businesses in HOC community channels (including WhatsApp groups) is not permitted and may result in removal. HOC may update community guidelines from time to time.
6. No warranty
Membership and any tools or estimates are provided "as is" without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HOC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of membership.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version you accept below is recorded with your signature. Material changes will be communicated to you, and your continued membership after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
